SOMERSWORTH — Gov. John
Lynch took a quick tour of the city's downtown Tuesday,
using the opportunity to ask store owners how their
businesses are doing in order to use this knowledge to
address issues he believes can deter a new small business
from growing.
Accompanied by Main Street Director Bob Dawber and
Director of Development Craig Wheeler, Lynch took an casual
hourlong walk, stopping by several of the 65 various
businesses ranging from antique boutiques to banks to
restaurants.
Now and Then, an antique shop on High Street, was the first
shop visited by the governor, who purchased a jar of
(Crooked Birch Kitchen) Black Bean and Corn salsa at
the business. |
